So if I wasn't at the park doing my job, I think definitely within the glass house the tropical plants would just get out of control so quickly. We cut them back each year, and they grow double their size within weeks! So if we weren't there, I think that they would completely take over.

And within the walled garden, I think the design would very much become lost, because there's lots of dominant plants that just start to take over. And unless you're sort of keeping them back, the other ones just wouldn't be able to survive, because they would just completely take over. And then definitely within the new beds that I'm helping to maintain the weeds just grow so quickly. And if we weren't there taking care of it, I think that all the new plants just wouldn't really look like anything.
