Building the volunteer team

I'm the Volunteer Coordinator for the Parkland under the National Lottery Heritage Fund. And as part of that project, I'm responsible for our volunteer program and increasing our volunteer offer. So that means recruiting new volunteers into the roles that we have and creating new opportunities as the project progresses.
As well as recruiting new volunteers, I also run inductions, organize training and look after the volunteers that we have, making sure that they're happy in their roles. And alongside Kat our community engagement officer, we also deliver a program of activities, events, like family activities and volunteer days.
