I did a three year Diploma in Botanical Horticulture at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. It is another universe at Kew with the range of glass houses, the size, the contacts, et cetera. It is probably the world's foremost Botanic garden on the planet. And I took a sort of three, four month hiatus following the qualifications at Kew, saw this job come up. I live quite locally and I saw the job advertised, and with the Amazon Lily and again, the tropical glasshouses the walled garden…it had everything in an area. So I jumped at the opportunity.
