Who are the Friends?

What the Friends do

Staunton Country Park is unique among Hampshire's country parks because of its location at the heart of the local community. The park and its facilities have been used by generations of local people as a place to take exercise, connect with nature and enjoy the fresh air.

The Friends of Staunton Country Park (FOSCP) is a group which provides the park managers with help and co-ordination with those in the local community who want to get involved. The Friends fundraise for future improvements, assist with events, volunteer to do support tasks and take an active part in ensuring everybody gets the most out of this great shared resource.

The Friends and the volunteers are vital to success of the park, enabling the management team to deliver special events and provide a better service day after day. But working with the Friends is also a fun, friendly and enjoyable way to experience Staunton Country Park.
